Letter
from the alumni affairs dean

YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED INFORMATION CONCERNING this year's alumni reunion weekend scheduled for Thursday, May 18 through Saturday, May 20, 2000.

This expanded three-day event has something for everyone, including campus and medical center tours, "classes without quizzes" and a variety of social gatherings.

I'd like to call attention to this year's medical symposium, on Sunday morning. It's titled "Radiation Oncology for the New Millennium" and features a stellar group of speakers from the Department of Radiation Oncology at Stanford, who will bring us up to date on what's new in cancer therapy. Topics to be discussed include radioimmunotherapy, breast imaging and new techniques to improve the outcome in prostate cancer.

I know this will be an exciting and very worthwhile program and look forward to seeing you there.
